Ford of Europe’s VP of manufacturing leaves after just 5 months

GM to axe 100 R&D positions

The cuts are about a 25-percent reduction in the Warren facility and are part of a "global restructuring." "These moves will enable the organization to better focus on commercializing customer-focused innovation in a more efficient and cost effective manner," GM spokesman Dan Flores tells The Detroit News
